WEBINAR: Preventing Burnout by Investing in Relationships At Work
November 5 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Faculty: Alexandra Suchman, BXP Partner, CEO, Barometer XP
One major, but often undervalued, factor in employee engagement, retention, and success is the nature of the relationship between colleagues and within teams. It’s not that we need to be best friends with everyone we work with, but we do need to understand each other well enough to collaborate, follow through with our commitments, and support each other through challenging times.
The truth is that we feel more accountable and motivated to do better work when we like, know, and trust the people we work with. Investing a little time into fostering positive relationships with more colleagues pays off in dividends when deadlines loom, big changes arise, and unforeseen challenges get in the way of the initial plan.
This workshop will share how to use play as a tool for building trust, empathy, interdependence, and other characteristics of a healthy culture.
Learning Objective:
By the end of the workshop, you’ll feel comfortable leading activities that:
- Catalyze new conversations to get to know new people and establish psychological safety.
- Build understanding across different expertise and experiences
- Enhance trust and accountability
