Strengthen capabilities today and be well positioned for tomorrow

The Center for Nonprofit Advancement promotes professional development for all staff, board members and volunteers at nonprofit organizations. We offer Board Basics, the Executive Preparation Institute and over 100 training opportunities each year, including education classes for a broad range of skill sets. All classes and programs are led by expert faculty members with experience working in the nonprofit sector.

During the pandemic, the Center quickly transitioned from a primarily in-person classroom setting to a virtual environment. The result was a significant increase in attendance. The benefits—eliminating travel, parking expenses and typically unpredictable commute times—made it easier for people to participate. So we decided to continue with a virtual based program, adding an in-person element when face-to-face interaction is optimal.

Center members enjoy generous discounts on registration fees for all of the Center’s training opportunities.
