Congratulations to our 2021 Winner!

Carpenter’s Shelter completed a very competitive selection process to win the 2021 Board Leadership Award. This well-led nonprofit works with people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, providing the support and tools to achieve sustainable independence. They will receive a $10,000 grant, community exposure, and training opportunities for the organization’s board members and executives.

826DC is dedicated to supporting students ages 6-18 with their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write. They will receive a $1,000 grant and training opportunities.
