I am available to serve as an Interim Executive Director and to provide a full range of Board Governance, Leadership, Organizational Development and Management consulting services, including for start-ups, turnarounds, mergers and acquisitions. As the first executive director of the Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organizations (16 years) and the immediate past CEO of The Arc of the United States (15 years) I have extensive experience providing support for all sizes and types of nonprofit organizations at all stages of development, have led advocacy (e.g. legislative, regulatory and litigation) at the national, state and local level. I am also an attorney licensed to practice in Maryland and DC and able to provide counsel on nonprofit corporate and fundraising and tax law compliance, and to guide litigation and individual advocacy.
