Course Objective: Understand what it means to be a data-driven organization and learn techniques to transform your organizational culture into one that values and leverages information to maximize outcomes.
Data-Driven. Outcomes-Oriented. Big Data. Analytics. Data Science. You’re familiar with the buzz words. In this session, we’ll get past the jargon and into practical ways you can help build a culture that prioritizes results and accountability, and effectively utilizes data to guide strategic and daily decision making. This workshop explores specific cases of success across the social sector and introduces an organizational change leadership approach to transforming your culture into one that thrives on information and insight. Efficient and sensitive methods of data collection and analysis will be discussed. Participants will be asked to complete a short survey in advance of the course to gauge your organization’s current data capacity and readiness for growth.
