The Center for Nonprofit Advancement seeks to sublease two interior individual offices to a nonprofit organization in its fourth floor suite at 1666 K Street, NW in Washington, DC. Available immediately.

Center Introduces Two New Vendors

The Center introduced its two newest member benefit offerings during the 2007 Open Enrollment Meetings on May 8. Fairfield Information Services will become the preferred vendor for pre-employment screenings and background verification checks. Also, Office Depot will become the Center's new office supply discount provider.

Employee Benefits Announcement – Change in Broker

After a comprehensive competitive solicitation process, the Center for Nonprofit Advancement's Benefits Trust is excited to announce that Early, Cassidy & Schilling, Inc. has been selected as our new benefits broker, replacing Benefits Plus, Inc. Early, Cassidy & Schilling, established in 1971, has a staff of 50 employees serving Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia.

Center Offers Emergency Succession Plan Template

No matter the age, health or happiness of the current leader, all organizations—small, large, new, or established—should be prepared for a sudden, unplanned change of executive directors. The Center has developed and is making available to the nonprofit community an Emergency Succession Plan Template. This template can be downloaded here, at no cost.

For years, the Center for Nonprofit Advancement has been asked by consultants, businesses and other professionals who work with nonprofits if they could join the Center. Now we have created a special membership category with unique benefits that suit the business community. Center Welcomes New Board Members

The Center for Nonprofit Advancement is pleased to announce these newly elected members to its board of directors: Fran Becker, Executive Director of Carpenter's Shelter; James M. Goldberg, a principal in the law firm of Goldberg & Associates, PLLC; and Maria Olivas, Manager of External Affairs at Verizon Washington, DC.

Executive Directors, Human Resource or designated representatives attended the 2007 Healthcare Program Meetings on May 8. The Open Enrollment presentation included the 2007-08 benefit changes that will occur this plan year.
