Healthy Living Challenge: Completing 13.1 miles

We just ran a half marathon!

Center team at the end of the race

After battling chilly morning weather, cold rain and freezing winds, Center staff completed the Healthy Living Challenge: Running 13.1 miles by running the Woodrow Wilson Half Marathon. We are delighted that everyone on our Center Team finished and was amazingly still full of energy as they saw all kinds of folks finishing alongside with them. In addition, we are also proud to say that this was the first half marathon for staff members Glen O’Gilvie and Chris Harrington.

We would to like thank everyone who supported our staff during this race. We will continue to support the health of the nearly 6000 nonprofit employees and family members participating in our Health Program by seeking out opportunities like this race to challenge our staff--and YOU! We hope to see many of you running with us for our next Healthy Living Challenge coming very soon.
