Elizabeth Scott, President of Elizabeth Scott Consulting, LLC, provides training and consulting services in the areas of strategic planning, organizational development, leadership/employee development, program evaluation, survey development and implementation, and outcome measurement theory and implementation. Ms. Scott is also certified to administer and interpret the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®), the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI), and the Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation-Behavior™ (FIRO-B®). She has been an examiner for the prestigious Baldrige-based Virginia Senate Productivity and Quality Award (SPQA), whose mission it is to cultivate continuous performance improvement of Virginia’s organizations through a process of knowledge sharing, feedback and evaluation, and recognition.
Ms. Scott has extensive background in the not-for-profit sector and has served in many capacities, including Vice President of MVLE Inc., a vocational rehabilitation program. During her tenure Ms. Scott has overseen the areas of quality assurance, compliance, organizational development, technology, information technology, data management, and organizational performance. She has considerable experience in developing and overseeing all aspects of an organization’s quality and business improvement efforts, such as developing and administering programs, training and coaching employees, and facilitating change.
In addition to her organizational development skills, Ms. Scott is an experienced evaluator and assessment specialist. During her employment with the Appalachian Regional Commission she led and administered a research project monitoring placement and progress of foreign physicians servicing areas of healthcare shortage in Appalachia.
In her earlier work, Ms. Scott worked as a consultant for Maximus, Inc. of Reston and as a marketing manager at Peak Performance International of Silver Spring. At Maximus she served as a consultant with their management and financial services division. Her work concentrated on business process review and reengineering, benchmarking, activity-based costing, and operational performance evaluations. At Peak Performance she directed all aspects of research, development, recruiting, and marketing corporate in-house training and personal executive coaching to Fortune 500 companies.
