Margaret Bensfield is managing director at New York PR/Public Affairs firm Group SJR.  Over the years, she has worked with a wide range of non-profit media relations clients, including the French-American Foundation, French Institute/Alliance Francaise, the American Associates of the Royal Academy Trust, the School of American Ballet, V-Day (Eve Ensler), Together for Haiti (Wyclef Jean), Council on Foreign Relations and with recording artist M.I.A. on anti-terror issues in Sri Lanka.

A native of Washington, DC, Margaret currently serves as a senior advisor to Business for Diplomatic Action.
