With over 25 years’ experience as a professional stage and screen actor and singer, voice-over talent, and public speaking teacher, Ann Timmons’ varied background gives her a unique, yet practical understanding of all facets of speaking and speech-making. A graduate of Wellesley College, Ann received her Master of Fine Arts in acting from the University of Illinois. She has studied with international voice and speech experts from the Royal Shakespeare Company, The Juilliard School, The Metropolitan Opera, and New York City Opera.

Ann has been an assistant professor in the Theatre and Speech Communications Departments of the City University of New York, the University of the District of Columbia, and American University. Ann has led workshops for Georgetown University, George Washington University, The Center for Progressive Leadership, The Farm Team, and The Sorensen Institute. In addition to helping leaders in the non-profit sector, Ann has helped strengthen the voices and messages of diplomats, lawyers, political candidates, public policy advocates, entrepreneurs, social workers, teachers, and members of the clergy.

Ann continues to lead acting workshops for adults through Arlington Country' Adult Education program. She is a member of Actors' Equity Association, American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, and the Screen Actors Guild.
